Do Any of These Sound Familiar?
If any of that describes your day, there is a straightforward path forward. Restoring your teeth starts with one honest conversation about your options.
What Waiting Actually Costs
Bone Continues Shrinking
Your jaw loses volume every month teeth stay missing, changing how any replacement fits.
Nearby Teeth Give Out
Remaining teeth carry extra load and fail faster, turning a partial into a full replacement.
Facial Support Fades
Cheeks and lips lose their foundation, which changes the shape of your face over time.
Treatment Grows More Complex
Waiting often adds grafting or extra steps that a simpler plan would have avoided.
Costs Climb Quietly
More missing teeth and more bone loss mean more work and a higher total investment.
Habits Harden
Years of soft foods and hidden smiles become normal, and you stop noticing what you gave up.
Starting sooner usually means a simpler plan, a better fit, and faster relief.
What Are Full and Partial Dentures?
Dentures (removable tooth replacements) restore missing teeth along with the gum tissue that supports them. A full denture replaces every tooth in an arch and rests directly on your gums, while a partial denture fills specific gaps and clasps onto the healthy teeth you still have. Both are built from an acrylic base with composite resin teeth attached, shaped to match your bite and the natural contours of your face.
Our approach to dentures in Oregon City, OR starts with digital scanning and detailed impressions, and at Revolution Dental Group those records go straight to the artisan technicians in our on-site lab. Working under one roof means fit adjustments happen quickly, and your final set reflects your input rather than a stock mold.

Not Sure Where You Stand?
What to Expect With Your Dentures
Consultation and Records
You'll sit down with one of our doctors for a full exam, including imaging that shows the condition of your remaining teeth and jawbone. We talk through what you want from your teeth, review your health history, and explain which type of denture fits your situation. You leave this visit with a clear plan and no obligation.
Digital Scanning and Design
We capture your bite using a Trios 5 intraoral scanner, which means no trays and no impression material. Those scans go to our on-site lab, where technicians design the base and select tooth shape, size, and shade with your input. You get to see and approve the direction before anything is built.
Preparation and Extractions
If any teeth need to come out first, that happens here with local anesthesia or sedation, whichever keeps you most comfortable. Our in-house surgical team handles this in the same building, so there are no referrals or separate appointments. You go home with a plan for healing and, in many cases, a temporary set of teeth.
Fitting and Adjustments
Your finished dentures are placed, and we check the bite, the pressure points, and how they sit against your gums. Small refinements happen right away because the lab is steps from the chair. You'll practice speaking and biting before you leave, and we schedule follow-ups to fine-tune the fit as your tissue settles.
Ready to Eat and Smile Comfortably Again?
Settling Into Your New Dentures
First 24 to 48 Hours
Expect your dentures to feel bulky and your speech to sound slightly different, which is completely normal. Stick to soft foods, keep them in as directed, and use over-the-counter pain relief if any tenderness shows up. Most patients report the strangeness fading noticeably by the second day.
First 1 to 2 Weeks
Your tongue and cheeks learn the new shape, and eating starts feeling automatic rather than deliberate. Practice with softer foods before working toward firmer textures, and let us know about any sore spots so we can adjust the fit. Small refinements during this window make a real difference.
Long-Term Comfort
Your gums and bone continue changing shape over the years, so periodic relines keep the fit snug. Daily cleaning and regular checkups protect both your dentures and the tissue underneath. Patients who stay on that routine get far more comfortable years out of their teeth.
